STATEMENT​

My studio practice blends art and craft to explore ideas of memory and societal value. I elevate objects that spur disgust or fear to objects of adornment, materials overlooked to fine art. Composite forms juxtapose the temporal delicacy of natural materials with the strength, worth, and tradition of precious metal.

Each natural object is a new problem to solve, a new process to evolve, and I'm constantly stimulated by the experimentation it generates.
